Recent Books I've Read
Hello. Today I am going to tell you about three recent books I have read.
The first one was Jingle Bells Batman Smells! ( PS. So Does May)
by Barbara Park. It is about Junie B. Jones handling tattletale May in the holiday
season. It was really funny when Junie B. picked tattletale May as her secret Santa! She
makes up with May after all.
The second book was The Lion Bible for Children by Murray Watts.
It is a really good bible for children because it explains every thing. I like
learning about God and Jesus. This is a book that I got from my First Holy Communion Class this year. I will celebrate my First Holy Communion in May. I plan to continue reading this Bible after I finish the next two Lemony Snicket books I have.
The third book was The Ersatz Elevator by Lemony Snicket. My favorite characters
were Esme, Jerome, Isadora, Violet, Klaus, Sunny, Gunther, and Count Olaf.
And Gunther turns out to be the evil Count Olaf! This is book the 6th of the series of unfortunate events. I really enjoyed this book and could hardly put it down!

My Paris Trip
HOW
My aunt and uncle came to see me and my family in Belgium.
My uncle wanted to see Paris so we planed a trip to Paris over the last holiday.
WERE
Paris is the capital of France which is in
Europe. It took us three hours to drive there from our home in Belgium.
WHEN
We left Belgium on the 4th of January. We stayed three
days and 2 nights. We left on the 6th of January from Paris. When
we got back from Paris it was 1:00 am!
WHAT
In Paris I went to the Louvre and saw
The Mona Lisa . I also went ice skating
on the Eiffel tower and I enjoyed eating
Nutella crepes there too! Our last stop was The Palace of Versailles.
WHY
We went to Paris because we had never
seen Paris. Now we have seen Paris, and
it was really lot of fun!

Crazy Crayons
Hello!
Today I am going to tell you about a recycling crayon program called Crazy Crayons.
WHAT?
This is a recycling program for broken crayons, used, unwanted crayons.
WHY?
Recycling is good for the environment. Broken crayons go to landfills and the crayons don’t even break down. They just sit there for years. Recycling crayons reduces waste because the broken crayons will be made into new crayons and given to kids that need them.
HOW?
Collect a box of broken crayons with wrappers on, send them to this address:
CRAYON RECYCLE PROGRAM
c/o Opportunities Unlimited
Community Work Center
2680 Oneida Lane
Rhinelander, WI 54501
WERE?
Collect crayons from
- around your house
- from restaurants
- from schools
- from friends
WHEN ?
The box is full mail it off!
Also - you can purchase recycled crayons in all sorts of shapes and sizes from the program as well.
For more information go to http://www.crazycrayons.com/
Thank you!

Action! Cut! Action! Cut! Action! Cut! Action! Cut!
I was in the filming of a movie last Saturday it is called “The Tamed Ones”. It’s about a young brother and sister living in a poor town in North America. I was am extra. That means that I was in the background, not a main actor.
We had to wait a long time while the crew filmed other scenes, with other people. Finally it was my turn. My job was to hide on some stairs and walk down some hallways. I did it over and over again because if somebody coughs or messes up a line, we had to start over again.
When we started to act they called out
"action!" and when we were supposed to stop, they called out "cut!".
I heard the words "action" and "cut" about 50 times!
I liked acting a lot! My favorite part was when we hid under the stairs.
Acting as an extra was fun and I was even paid 50 Euro. I would have done it for free because I had such a good time!
This is a picture of me after our busy day of acting. My mom took my sister and me to a Thai restaurant to celebrate our big day.

Recent Books I've Read
I have been reading some books that I would recommend .
Great Dog Stories Of All Time , edited by Fairfax Downey and illustrated by Albert Orbaan.
This is collection of adventurous stories about dogs.
The Book of Virtues, by William J. Bennett. This book has lots of moral stories for kids. Each story has an important lesson inside. My favorite one was Chicken Little.
The last book I’d recommend that I’ve recently read is called Grossology and You by Sylvia Branzei. This book is about gross stuff in your body like blood, pus, sneezing, bumps, hiccups, and bruises. My aunt bought it for my birthday and I really enjoyed it. .
